The horse comes first
We would rather know every horse deeply than build numbers for the sake of appearance.
Selection begins with pedigree and performance, but the daily judgement is individual: soundness, temperament, recovery, confidence and whether the next step is genuinely the right one. The plan is allowed to change when the horse tells us it should.

Born 28 March 2020, Mayhaab came to Sweden with a documented record of 13 starts and 4 wins. His Polish campaign delivered all four victories from 10 starts, 29,100 PLN in prize money and a rating of 71.
Young racing prospect

A young filly at the beginning of her education. Our work is to give her time, confidence and a preparation that protects the possibility she carries.
Broodmare

An internationally bred foundation mare at the centre of our long-term broodmare programme. Her current cross with Al Mounteze Monlau brings together proven female depth, speed and international race performance.

Nizam (GB) × Djelfore (NL)
With 48 starts, 9 wins and the title Arabian Horse of the Year 2021, Djelano is a proven racehorse whose career and character helped shape 1919 by Shelby. Now retired from racing, he remains part of the family and our story.
Filly · future prospect
Al Mouwaffak (FR) × Conchita D.A. (FR)
A 2026 bay filly combining two established Group 1 racing lines. Rosé was selected to carry proven speed, class and producing quality into the next generation of the Shelby programme.
The aim is not simply to own Arabian horses. It is to build a family of horses whose quality, care and story mean something.
